Ryan helps people share their stories through multimedia to an English-speaking, international audience. His video work has been screened and won at festivals from the New York Film Week, to Smithsonian In-Motion, the International Festival of Ethnological Film, ABA (1st Place in 2014). He also has bylines at Roads & Kingdoms, Mongabay, Southeast Asian Globe, the Hong Kong Free Press, Spiegel.de and others.
